DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS
According to Proclus, a famous Mathematician, “Whatever there is a number , there is beauty”, our department offers UG, PG and M.Phil Programmes. Both UG and PG were started in the academic year 2014 and M.Phil was started in 2016. The department is enriched with the committed faculty members.
B.Sc., Mathematics course aims to provide knowledge about trigonometry, Calculus and other papers. M.Sc., Mathematics aims at providing Graph theory, Topology, Fuzzy Mathematics etc. Mathematics offers job opportunity in various areas. A Strong background of Mathematics is required if you want to pursue your career for higher studies. Department is also actively engaged in other activities like organizing seminar in mathematics for under graduate, post graduate as well as Research scholars.
Achievements of the department:
A student of mathematics department has scored above 90 marks in Bharathidasan University Examinations and has participated in sports and games, Essay writing and speech competitions and also the student has published many books every year..
