The English Department was started in the year 2010 with the sole motive of providing multi – dimensional skills to the economically poor and educationally weaker students coming from the villages, in English language.

Most of our successful students are working in educational fields and some of them are working in newspaper offices. So far, our department has produced more brilliant students and they have come out with flying colors in the University Examinations and secured ranks in the Bharathidasan University Examinations. Our department has a broad spectrum of excellent faculty members. We have 11 teaching staff members and most of them have been awarded PhD. and NET..

Our department is in possession of excellent library with a collection of more than 5000 books and really it is a boon for the weaker and financially poor students. The teaching faculty members not only enthuse the students but also make them realize the importance of studying this course. They are guiding the students in securing good jobs.
