Chairman’s Message

The great Tamil philosopher Tiruvalluvar, known for his moderation in praise, was moved to admiration when he contemplated the strength and virtue of womanhood. One such noble woman is Tmt. Manimegalai, the wife of Thiru R. Thandapani, a visionary who laid the foundation for a philanthropic legacy.

In her desire to uplift the surrounding community through education, Tmt. Manimegalai played a key role in founding the Thandapani Pillai and Sons Educational and Charitable Trust on 7th September 2001 in Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu. Known for her simplicity and compassion toward the underprivileged, she envisioned a series of institutions including Arts and Science Colleges, Polytechnic Institutes, Engineering Colleges, and more — all aimed at providing quality education to rural students.

The responsibility of maintaining this noble vision and guiding the trust’s growth now rests on the committed shoulders of Dr. T. Ananth. With deep respect for his parents' vision and a strong sense of duty, he continues to lead with passion, ensuring the trust fulfills its mission of serving society through education.
