CYBER CLUB was inaugurated at our college premises on 17.07.2021.
Dr. T. ANANTH, Chairman, Sir Issac Newton Educational Institutions welcomed the gathering. He said that this club’s mission is to make Nagapattinam district police and people completely aware of the digital world and to build a secured community. This Cyber Club, with the objective of creating awareness among the public of internet security and internet-related frauds, was inaugurated by Tr. V. BALAKRISHNAN, I.P.S., Inspector General of Police, Central Zone, Trichy.
He said that the awareness programmes will focus on different kinds of cyber security threats and frauds, and the fundamental steps the people must take to safeguard their privacy and not fall victim to cybercrimes.
In the presence of Tr. G. JAWAHAR, I.P.S., Superintendent of Police, Nagapattinam District, he advised people to be more cautious of their online behaviour and understand their role in making the internet a safer place. Finally, Tr. S. THIRUNAVUKKARASU, ADSP, Nagapattinam delivered the vote of thanks.
